And so familial traditions pass from one generation to the next generation in honor of those who came before. Two generations, mother and son, are portrayed in exquisitely detailed embroidery by Chinese artisans, and further embellished with elaborate beadwork by designer Susan Hollingsworth. Jewelry designer Ronda Terry's bejeweled button of carved stone adds a sparkling finish.
