Flowers From Garden Jacket Fullbody

The Legend

FLOWERS FROM THE GARDEN

The Asian-esque flair of patterned black-on-white is the perfect foil to the exotic simplicity of a Japanese flower arrangement. Textile Designer Suneetha/Bhaavana’s bouquet in silk is a stunning collage of a origami, embroidery, and applique. Her button of needle tatting on silk is the perfect complement to the vivid display.

Don’t Forget To smell The flowers…

Susan Hollingsworth

Susan Hollingsworth has always had a knack for storytelling. Her years spent living in countries from Europe to Asia introduced her to the ancient practice of fiber art and the techniques that women used to create visual stories – with thread and fabric – passed down to them from their ancestors. During a stint in London, she studied pattern making from the Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, which became the catalyst for SuKaz jackets. Rather than pen and paper, Susan designs wearable pieces of art, each one telling a unique story through the hands of skilled artisans from cultures around the globe.
